Acid attack at Stratford tube station

Police rushed to a London tube station tonight after six people were injured in a massive acid attack. Officers have arrested a man after a gang sprayed acid into a crowd near Stratford Shopping Centre in east London.  Dramatic video and images shared on social media appeared to show police attending to victims at Stratford tube station which is next to Stratford shopping centre and 200 yards from Westfield shopping centre. A longtime substitute teacher at Georgia Elementary and Middle School in Vermont was fired after she taught third graders a Nazi salute. A local district official announced the news Thursday after the unidentified teacher was caught demonstrating the arm gesture to several young and impressionable students while in the cafeteria. The meth addict accused of killing Holly Bobo in 2011 has been found guilty of her murder.  Zachary Adams, 33, was convicted of first degree murder, rape and kidnapping at a courthouse in Savannah, Tennessee, on Friday. A beginner bus driver killed a 76-year-old grandmother on his first shift behind the wheel. Police and SWAT units are surrounding a bank in Tennessee where a man reportedly armed with a machete is said to have taken hostages, it was learned on Friday. Authorities were called to an emergency situation at a bank in Columbia. Colombian police seize 7 tonnes of cocaine at banana farm

BOGOTA, Sept 22 (Reuters) – Colombian police have seized seven tonnes of cocaine at a banana farm in northern Antioquia province, the defense minister and police said on Friday. The shipment, worth about $200 million, belonged to the Golfo Clan crime gang.
